3 High Street Maidenhead
The refurbishment and conversion of No.3 to provide three flats and two shop units received Planning and Listed Building Consent in 2004, and was completed in 2005.
2 High Street Maidenhead
Planning Approval was also received for 6 flats and a riverside restaurant on the complex adjoining site. Development was unlocked by reversal of mains sewers in the High Street so that it no longer crossed the property. Extensive Flood Risk Assessments and Statements for the Environment Agency on flood plain and ecology issues, as well as detailed analysis and statements covering the history of the site and conservation issues were also all prepared by the Practice.



Gun Street Reading
A major two storey deep plot redevelopment of a 1940’s NHS building in central Reading behind a Listed building, forming a large retail space, prominently featuring a glass bridge across the Holy Brook river, with a new commercial frontage addressing the Oracle shopping centre.
The practice worked with various environmental, archaeological and historical agencies in order to preserve the historic importance of the Holy Brook as a Listed river channel, and the Listed building, including detailed research into the site’s rich history by referring to GOAD plans and 400 years of original Title deeds





Chapel Farm and 1 The Broadway Thatcham
A complex of sites and projects centring on an unused historic farm with Listed barn and farmhouse in the middle of the town, and an adjoining industrial site.
Planning Approval obtained for redevelopment of the industrial site into 14 flats.
Planning Approval obtained for a new road junction and access to the Listed barn and the rear portion of the development site on behalf of landowner of the Chapel Street farmyard.
Surveys and reports for, and Approvals obtained for, demolition of curtilage Listed barns. Advice provided to landowner on development of rear portion of site, subsequently sold to BUPA for a care home.
Listed Building Consent and schedules of works as required for conversion of Listed Barn to form a garden shelter for BUPA.
Planning Approval and Listed Building Consent for conversion of semi-derelict farmhouse, No.1 The Broadway (Chapel Street) into four small flats and a house.
Negotiations regarding Listed Building Enforcement Action matters to main Chapel Farm Barn. Surveys, design work and specifications for, and Planning and Listed Building Consents for, refurbishment, conversion and extension of the Barn to Retail use.
Listed Building Consent for relocation of Listed Milestone.
